Last night, Coach Paul Rhoads led the Iowa State Cyclones in a 14 – 13 victory over the team that murdered the namesake of Jack Trice Stadium, The Minnesota Golden Gophers. What a game it was! Iowa State finishes the season at 7 -6. Yeah, that may not seem like a great record, but they finished last seaon at 2 – 10, so I’d say that is reason to celebrate.
Early reports indicate that Paul Rhodes and the Iowa State Cyclones will be headed to Temp, Arizona to play Minnesota or Michigan State in the Insight Bowl.
With the Cowboys off yesterday, we were able to flip through any game we wanted. I was hoping for an Eagles loss to put more room between them and the Cowboys, but Washington wasn’t able to come through for me.
