Aiden’s First Piano Lesson
A few months ago, Aiden told me he wanted to learn to play the piano. A bit out of practice on any music other than the theme song to “Star Trek”, I debated on whether or not to teach him myself. After only a few minutes, I relented and decided to take him under my musical wing.
I conferred with Big Dave and Mrs. Big Dave on which lesson books I should purchase to teach the guy with, and they suggested Alfred. I ordered the books last Tuesday and by Saturday they were here. He was so excited when he saw them, he wanted to start his lesson right then. I told him that Monday nights were his lesson night, and Brenden’s lesson night would be Wednesday.
I sent out a Tweet that the books were here and that the little monkey was ready to learn and immediately got several responses. One of those was from @clumsyhalfninja (Mica in the real world) who suggested I video blog his progress. So, nerd that I am, I decided to uStream his lesson today. The audio isn’t great, so I think I’m going to invest in another external mic, but nonetheless, here it is, Aiden’s 1st piano lesson. Enjoy!
