Congrats to Coach Paul Rhoads and the 2009 Iowa State Cyclones. With a 6 and 6 record, ISU is one of the most improved programs in the country. If Coach was able to take a hacks recruits to that kind of record after a 2 and 10 season, imagine what he’ll do with his own recruits…. The future looks bright Cyclone fans, hope you’ve got some shades, and I hope we see the guys take the field one more time this year in a bowl game.

Rhoads led ISU to the 2nd biggest turnaround from one year time.
I, too, am in love with Coach Rhoads. I am of the mindset that ISU has their ideal coaches with Rhoads heading football and McDermott heading basketball. Two class guys with in-state ties that are both deserving of all success that comes their way.
McDermott is due for a breakout year as well with the talent he has. Here’s hoping that Pollard and Co. can pony up the cash when the big schools come a calling in the next couple years for both of these guys.
Yeah, Frank, every ISU fan has reason to be proud this season. Bowl or no bowl, it was a heck of a good ride. As you say, it will be interesting to see where this goes.
And Arsento, I hope you’re into bizarre, because this blog is about a whole bunch of stuff in addition to football.
