So I Was Working On The Jeep When….

Oops Thumb

This kids is why we wear gloves when working on vehicles. I was pulling off the last shock I was replacing today on the Jeep (thank goodness I’d finished the brakes) when it broke free and my thumb got cut by the inside of the fender. I thought maybe I could just wash it out and band-aid it, but when I saw the bone I decided we should probably head to the Emergency Room. Seven stitches and an hour later I was all patched up and ready to go. Thank God for awesome PRIVATE health insurance! The numbing agent they administered is starting to wear off, so I’m going to cut this post short. The lesson for today is WEAR YOUR GLOVES KIDS WHEN WORKING ON YOUR VEHICLES!
